On With the Show

Students enjoyed the recent performance of “If Pigs Could Fly” by the Blue Sky Puppet Theater.  Blue Sky was founded in 1974 by Michael Kotter and is one of the premier puppet theaters on the East Coast.  Based in College Park, Maryland, they perform over 1000 shows each year. Our children loved the dramatization of five folk tales from around the world.  After the performance, each child was able to meet and touch a puppet. Evergreen on a Roll

The Evergreen bus is always ready to roll.  This week Mrs. John’s class went to Glen Echo Park to see The Puppet Co.’s performance of Toyland.  The Toddler class rode the bus to Imagination Stage to see Wake Up Brother Bear.  Exploring the world is a natural part of the Evergreen curriculum.  With so many resources in the DC Metro Area, learning happens everywhere.
