A Night of Espionage at Evergreen

Evergreen parent and former FBI Operative Eric O’Neill is scheduled to speak on January 25 about his experience bringing down Robert Hanson, the greatest double agent of our time. Sing Peace Around the World

Evergreen School celebrated at our annual Winter Festival on Friday, December 21. The highlight of the event was our whole-school performance of Light a Candle for Peace. Thanks to Ms. Garry, our music teacher, for creating such a rich musical program.  And special thanks to Reverend Gilbert for his touching Invocation that reminded us of the power of community and celebration in our lives. Evergreen Faculty Celebrates the Holidays

Evergreen teachers and staff gathered at the home of Ms. Lourdes Barden-Sims on Saturday.  We toured her barn, gardens and farm house.  We even fed her flock of chickens.  What a great way to celebrate our community!  The Barden-Simses even performed their wedding song on the mandolin.

Blue Sky Puppet Theater to Perform

Thanks to the generous support of the Evergreen School Parents Association (ESPA), the Blue Sky Puppet Theater is scheduled to perform for our students in February. Blue Sky is one of the premier puppet theaters on the East Coast and performs over 1000 shows each year. We are grateful to everyone who participated in the MixedBag Fundraiser.

Students Bring Cheer

Students from Mrs. John’s class travelled to Arden Court Assisted Living Home in the Cherry Hill area recently. Evergreen children paraded and performed for residents and delivered treats. Seniors were joyed to have our young visitors with them. And it was a great opportunity to rehearse our songs for the upcoming Winter Festival.
