The Spanish program builds a strong foundation of  language skills and cultural knowledge.  Children four years and up participate in small group Spanish lessons twice each week. Small groups enable bilingual students to have individualized lessons.

Spanish Program goals:

  • To develop successful communication skills in a Montessori classroom.
  • To enable students to develop an understanding and an appreciation of the language and culture of Spanish-speaking countries.
  • To learn vocabulary and communication skills so children can function in real-life situations
  • Listening and comprehension are emphasized in the Primary program.  More speaking and writing takes place in the Elementary program.
