The Rubens Ott Music and Peace Garden

The Rubens Ott Music and Peace Garden is given in the memory of Rubens Ott, a former Evergreen student. During his years at Evergreen, Rubens nurtured his love of learning, reading and math in particular. He also loved the outdoor playground, and spent many happy moments there with his friends. We are grateful for the generous support of the Ott Family and Beatrice Ukraincik to the Pine Cone Park project.

The Music and Peace Garden includes a trio of Harmony Park outdoor xylophones, the Evergreen Peace Pole, contemplation bench and rock garden.  Each year, students gather there in recognition of International Peace Day to sing.
