Teacher Spotlight: Luda Grant, Primary Lead Teacher
Teacher Spotlight
Luda Grant, Cedar Room Lead Teacher
I was born and grew up in a small town in Belarus, the country in Eastern Europe.
I realized I wanted to be a teacher in grade school. I admired my English teacher who instilled love for the English language. I also remember "playing school" with my younger sister as a child.
I find Evergreen to be a great community of friendly and supportive colleagues. The Head of School is always looking for ways to make the school a better place. The small class sizes allow me to spend more quality time with each child. And the enrichment programs provide the children opportunities to share their creative side.
I live in Urbana, Frederick County. My husband is a High School baseball coach. I have a 16 year-old daughter who enjoys playing lacrosse.
I enjoy exploring local state parks, taking long walks and hiking. I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I like to take part in winter sports, such as ice skating and skiing.
I play volleyball and ping-pong.
