Alumni Picnic

Evergreen celebrated it’s annual alumni picnic on Sunday, October 16.  Thanks to our 72 past parents and students for coming to enjoy the Playgarden and touring the new music room.  We are grateful to Ronda Kent for organizing the event!

Elementary Morning Mingle

Parents are invited into the Elementary classroom each month to mingle, do partner work with their child, and chat with teachers.  This month, parents and children read holiday stories, identified leaves, worked on long division problems and worked on writing projects.

2016 Reading Buddies

Primary students and Elementary students read together each week as “Reading Buddies.” It’s one way older children are mentors and younger children get role models to emulate. This collaborate learning experience gives children the chance to practice emerging reading skills and helps make connections between the Primary and Elementary classes. Older children practice their mentoring skills and develop a better ability to encourage, empathize and support… and they can show off their reading...
