Summer in Rockville

2024 Evergreen Summer in Rockville

Session One: June 3 - June 21

Session Two: June 24 - July 19

Session Three: July 22 - Aug 16

Welcome to Evergreen Summer in Rockville! The summer will feature sensational learning opportunities indoors and out-- including time on our new Acorn Park Playground.

We offer two programs designed to cater to the unique needs and preferences of your child. The program features extended sessions of three or four weeks that allows children to delve deeply and fully immerse themselves in their learning. Extended time together encourages the formation of stronger connections and a sense of community, contributing to a more supportive and inclusive camp environment.

Montessori STEAM Summer Program

Our Montessori STEAM Summer Program integrates science, technology, engineering, art and math extension projects into the Montessori framework to stimulate intellectual curiosity. Led by experienced Montessori teachers, this program is an educational journey designed to engage children cognitively and socially. Rooted in the principles of Maria Montessori, our approach fosters independence, self-directed learning and a love for discovery. The program focusses on cognitive development, intellectual stimulation and fun. Children engage in hands-on activities that promote critical thinking, problem-solving, and a deep understanding of various subjects.

Sprouts Day Camp

For a play-based, experiential setting, our Sprouts Day Camp is full of arts, crafts, and games. Led by enthusiastic counselors, this program is all about fun and exploration. The program focusses on playful experiences. Children participate in a variety of play-based activities, from imaginative games to outdoor adventures, fostering a love for creativity and spontaneity.

Our experienced staff creates a safe and nurturing environment where children can develop important life skills like confidence and socialization. With the chance to make new friends and participate in activities on their own, children will gain independence and build self-esteem. Evergreen Summer also provides educational benefits to continue children's learning throughout the summer months. Join us for a fun and fulfilling summer by contacting [email protected].

Toddler Summer in the Sage Classroom

Current children in the Sage room who are continuing in the Sage room through the summer will receive a separate sign up form for via email.
