What is the Evergreen School Benefit Auction?
The Evergreen Benefit Auction is the school’s primary annual fundraising event and social occasion for adults. Held each spring, the Benefit includes live entertainment, hor d’oeuvres, a cocktail bar, a silent and live auction, and more than a few surprises. This year’s theme is Masquerade in the Haunted Garden. It will be held on April 26 at 7 PM at the Woman’s Club of Chevy Chase. Tickets are $40.00 per person and $75.00 per couple.
Funds raised from the Benefit enable the school to enhance its programs in areas including music, art, library, financial aid and teacher professional development. This year, proceeds also support the physical and outdoor education programs.
Just as important, the Benefit is one of the school’s most important social events. It’s a perfect time to meet other Evergree families and deepen relationships with the parents of your child’s classmates and friends.
